At Warwick Gair Builders, we know that every client’s journey is different. Some arrive with a full set of architectural drawings and consents. Others have a rough idea of what they want and need help turning it into something real. Wherever you’re at, we meet you there — and guide you forward with clarity, experience, and purpose.
We don’t follow a rigid formula. We offer a tailored approach based on nearly 50 years of hands-on building and project delivery. That includes advice most architects and consultants can’t offer — the kind that only comes from decades on the tools and knowing what works in the real world.
We work closely with architects throughout the design process to ensure buildability and budget are considered from the ground up — saving everyone time and money.

Step 1: Understanding Your Position
It all starts with a conversation. We take time to understand your goals, budget, timeline, and where you’re currently at in the planning process.
Already have plans? We’ll price them using our QS team and trusted subtrades.
Just starting out? We’ll help you define your scope and direction.
Need a designer? We’ll connect you with an architect or draughtsman whose style and personality suit you and your project.
Step 2: Design Support & Practical Advice
Here’s where WGB adds serious value. We draw on decades of carpentry-based experience to help guide early design decisions — ensuring your ideas are not only achievable but cost-effective to build.
We know where the hidden costs are. We know which detailing adds value — and which doesn’t. We’ll advise you on how far to go through the design process before it’s worth committing to full documentation and council lodgement.
Our goal is to help you make smart, informed choices early — when changes are easy and savings are real.
Step 3: Pricing & Proposal
Once your concept is resolved, we prepare a detailed, transparent proposal. We involve our subtrades and merchants to ensure real-world pricing and include clear allowances, margins, and exclusions — so there are no surprises later.
We take the time to walk you through the numbers and answer every question.
Step 4: Construction
Your build will be led by a dedicated WGB project manager with over 20 years’ experience — someone who has worked their way up within our business and understands our expectations from the ground up.
We manage the programme, coordinate all trades, keep a close eye on quality, and maintain open lines of communication throughout.
Step 5: Completion & Support
Once your home is complete, we don’t disappear. We stand by our work, stay in touch, and are always available for advice, fine-tuning, or future improvements.
